Bartošová, Eliška ; Valášková Vincejová, Eva (advisor) ; Valenta, Josef (referee)
The diploma thesis is devoted to the adaptation of beginning teachers at lower-secondary schools to their school environment. The theoretical part defines concepts related to the person of a beginning teacher, his preparation for the teaching profession and subsequent support after entering the profession. Qualitative research is used in the empirical part of the work and is based on the analysis of ten semi-structured interviews with beginning teachers, who were asked questions in order to find out if and possibly how they managed to adapt to their school environment, and what factors helped them to do so. This part of the work attempts to answer the main research question, which is: What support does the environment provide to beginning teachers during their adaptation phase to the school environment and what factors influence this support?
